Disputes are mentally, emotionally, and financially draining. The longer a conflict drags out, the more both parties continue to suffer. A contentious dispute may even result in litigation. Pursuing dispute resolution through the court system is expensive, time consuming, and frustrating. Clearly it is in the best interest of both parties to quickly resolve their dispute. Unfortunately that is not always easy. As a neutral mediator, we objectively analyze the dispute and get all sides to focus on a win-win resolution. We work with each party individually to accurately diagnose the problem and to assess their needs. We identify specific factors that are preventing the parties from reaching agreement, and work with them to overcome those hurdles. We facilitate meetings between the parties to sort through key issues, help them communicate more effectively, and assist in reaching a mutually beneficial agreement. We rely on our proprietary Power Charged™ system of effectiveness, and individually teach clients the skills necessary to help overcome the problems that contributed to the dispute. Power Charged Mediation focuses on more than solving a one-time conflict. By helping our clients improve their skills and work more effectively together, our aim is to preserve the relationship and prevent future disputes.

Unlike arbitration, Power Charged Mediation is non-binding; we do not force agreement on the parties involved in the dispute. Any settlement must be willingly accepted by all. The parties involved retain the right to pursue other courses of action, including litigation. Fortunately, that is seldom necessary. Even when we are unable to reach an agreement that is satisfactory to all, because the parties’ interests do not sufficiently overlap, Power Charged Mediation helps them recognize the situation and if necessary dissolve their relationship in a fair and equitable manner without unnecessarily dragging out the conflict.

Power Charged Mediation assures the confidentiality of all participants. We do not disclose confidential information shared with us during the process with other parties in the dispute or with anyone else. Protecting the privacy and negotiating leverage of all is a critical element of Power Charged Mediation.
